A Good Speaker or Facilitator Always Makes The Difference

When examining why an failed business event didn’t succeed, we’ve discovered that the single most determinant of success or failure is having a good, quality speaker or facilitator.

A speaker will provide benefits to a gathering which although can be created in different ways, rarely have the same degree of success:
- an expertise on a specific topic not found anywhere else
- connectivity to your audience
- combination of entertainment and educational value
- networking/socializing component
- ability to modify topic on the fly

Personally, I would prefer to have the latest information from someone who is developing an area of expertise than from an article on the internet or from a book. That way, I can ask questions and build a relationship with the expert as part of my networking plan.

In addition, an experienced speaker can often help an event organizer with information and tips that will make the event a greater success.
